What is Camelia, in one sentence?
A private travel studio that designs your personal way of traveling—pace, place, and pattern—so the trip feels unmistakably yours.
Who is this for?
People who want depth over volume: fewer moves, better timing, calmer days, and choices made with taste rather than trends.
What do you actually deliver?
A complete travel blueprint: routing and pacing, where to stay, what to do (and what to skip), daily flow, and practical details presented clearly so you can travel without decision fatigue.
Are you a travel agency?
No. The service is travel design and planning. You receive a plan and booking pathway; you book directly with the providers.
Do you book flights/hotels/restaurants for me?
You don’t hand your card to a middleman. You book directly using links/codes and instructions provided in your plan. When partner perks are available, they’re routed through that same pathway.
What makes this different from a typical “bespoke itinerary”?
It’s not a list of highlights. The work is the design of time: how your days feel, how much you move, where you base yourself, and the level of structure vs freedom.
How does pricing work?
Design pricing is based on the number of trip days and complexity, with pricing starting from a per-day design rate (as shown on the site). You receive a quote after the initial consultation.
What’s the payment structure?
Typically split into three payments: an initial 50% deposit to begin after the Travel Brief has been defined following our conversation in the free Welcome Consultation, 25% part way through the planning and a final 25% to unlock the completed itinerary with names of hotels, restaurants, experiences and more in addition to the instructions on how to book directly with the recommended suppliers, as per our Terms and Conditions.
What is the process, start to finish?
A free Welcome Consultation to understand your travel style and constraints → a Travel Brief and quote → design phase → draft plan with names of recommended hotels/restaurants/experiences etc redacted → final unlocked itinerary package with booking pathway and support details.
How far in advance should I start?
Earlier is better for high-demand seasons, specific hotels, and limited-access experiences. The standard design process is built for longer lead times.
My trip is soon - around 2 months away. Can you still help?
Yes, with an adjusted scope. Options include: an expedited plan at a negotiated per-day rate, planning only the highest-impact portion of the trip (bases, routing, key bookings), or designing a “core blueprint” you can execute quickly. The tradeoff is fewer iterations and tighter choice sets.
Can you plan only part of the trip?
Yes. Common partial scopes: the first/last segment, a single base with day structure, or a routing and hotel strategy you then extend yourself.
Do you work with any destination?
No. The studio works from a curated set of destinations where the work is grounded in real familiarity, not generic research.
Can you work with trips I’ve already started booking?
Yes. Existing bookings become constraints; the design work focuses on pacing, cohesion, and filling the gaps with choices that match your style.
Do you provide support while I’m traveling?
Yes, lightweight support (e.g., WhatsApp-style) for adjustments and on-the-ground questions, within the boundaries set in your package.
What do you need from me to start?
Dates (or windows), rough budget, who’s traveling, any non-negotiables, and a fast read on your preferences (what you love, what you avoid, how you like your days to feel).
What if plans change after the itinerary is delivered?
You’ll have a clear pathway to rework essentials and this will be outlined in our Terms and Conditions. Larger changes (dates, destination swaps, major scope shifts) typically become a new or extended scope.
